Hi, I'm Alexandra Sutherland -- a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for helping people.
Prior to my career as an RMT, I came from a background as an educator within our local school board. This is where my true self emerged as someone who truly felt inspired to serve and help others. After many years in the elementary and secondary school system, my heart was drawing me on a deeper level to pursue a career within the health care field as a Registered Massage Therapist.
I provide a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where we work 'together' on your personalized massage therapy treatment and the goals that you may have. Whether you need some post-injury treatment or something that leaves you feeling relaxed and de-stressed, I can provide you with a treatment designed for your individual needs. During your treatments, I can use General Swedish massage techniques, Petrissage, Trigger Point and Myofascial release to relieve any muscle restrictions or reduced ranges of motion. I am also certified in Cupping and Trauma Informed Massage Therapy.
Whether you are 5 to 105, prenatal, postnatal, struggling with anxiety or depression, or just want to tune out the world for a while, my commitment to you is that I will provide you with the absolute best treatment possible.
In my spare time I love gardening, kayaking, walks in nature, spending time with my husband & family and of course time with our special Doberman 'Calvin'.

When you book an appointment, that time is set aside for you, and missed appointments prevent me from accommodating other clients. Please understand that I only get paid when a service is delivered. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay 50% of the treatment as booked.

Missing more than 50% of your scheduled appointment will be considered a missed appointment.

I recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) and I may make an exception to the above policy on those rare occasions.
